One of the most acute problems that arise in hardwood floor sanding is the amount of dust that is created in the process. Since its beginnings, our company has been striving to implement innovative products that will reduce the amount of dust to the bare minimum. We first adopted the Dust Containment System as certified by the Green Guard Institute, but as our company grows each day, we invested in another piece of equipment that would fit the demand. That is why we are proud to present the newest member of the Michigan Hardwood Floors Services’ team: the state-of-the-art BONA ATOMIC TRAILER.

Bona Atomic DCS - The new member of our team. This is the new equipment that eliminates all the dust and fumes created during the sanding process.

The BONA ATOMIC DCS system is mounted on a trailer and has a gas-powered engine which allows it to significantly increase the airflow in your home. Since it is located outside of the customer’s home, it provides for a very powerful system that ejects the airborne dust and fumes created during the sanding process. It is connected to the sanding equipment by a long hose which takes the dust outside to a sealed containment system. The system used by Michigan Hardwood  Floors Services, LLC. is virtually dust free and Green Guard Certified. We are very happy to be able to offer a truly dustless sanding system to our customers, which will not only aide in the sanding process, but it will also prove to be beneficiary to their families and our workers.
