Natural and Friendly Wooden Stairs

When properly maintained, a wooden staircase can last for generations. Many older homes still have their original wooden stairs, which is a testament to the material’s remarkable longevity. Unlike some modern alternatives, wood retains its beautiful appearance over time, often
acquiring a character and patina that you appreciate. However, with heavy use of wooden stairs indoors, they lose their luster over time and need to be refinished.

Do you have a set of wooden stairs that need restoration?

Let us take care of that for you. We can sand and refinish them while we restore your hardwood floors, making the process as convenient as possible for you.
You’ll have the same finish system for both, and if you decide to stain your floors, you can stain your stairs to match.

What part of the staircase can we refinish?

Since our sanding machines are designed for sanding flat horizontal surfaces, we only refinish the treads and landings of the stairs.
All other parts of the stairs – lamps, spindles, posters and railings – are not part of the flooring trade.

A beautifully refinished staircase to match your floor

With the sanding and finishing process, we can give your wooden staircase a ” second life”; through this process, the wooden staircase becomes attractive again, its charm is preserved, and you can enjoy the beautiful appearance of wood again.
Wooden elements delight with their natural charm and give the interior a unique atmosphere. If you decide to refinish your hardwood floor , including the restoration of the  staircase in your project to match your floor can create a seamless and harmonious look in your home.
